Deliver removal of Tanners Weir to address fish passage issues
Description:
Tanners weir is a barrier to fish migration, causes an impounded reach upstream degrading the habitat and its removal has been shown to have benefits for flood risk to the local community. Weir removal has been identified as the best course of action delivering multiple benefits. Remove the weir, incorporating riparian and biodiversity improvements in the upstream reach.
