Who We Are
The Darent and Cray management catchment is covered by two sub-catchment improvement groups: the Darent Catchment Improvement Group and the Cray Catchment Improvement Group. These groups come together regularly to share an overview of the whole management catchment, but also meet independently to maintain a local focus.
The South East Rivers Trust is the lead host for DEFRA’s Catchment Based Approach (CaBA) in this area, with North West Kent Countryside Management Partnership as co-host. Key partners include the Environment Agency, Thames 21, Darent River Preservation Society (DRiPS), local Parish councils, London Borough of Bexley, London Borough of Bromley, Dartford Borough Council, Sevenoaks District Council, Darent Valley Trout Fishers (DVTF), Dartford and District Angling Preservation Society (DDAPS), Kingfisher Angling and Preservation Society, Friends of the Shuttle, Thames Water, London Wildlife Trust and Kent Wildlife Trust.
